The Solar system

The Solar System is what we lovingly call our battery powered sound/stage/and lighting system. We had initially hoped to power the system with 100% renewable energy, and while the system is powered on a hydro-electric grid we were not able to meet our initial goals of a 100% solar powered system as the efficacy of our solar panels could not meet our power demand between events. We still do our best to power our system with renewables including solar and are committed to only using LifePO4 (Lithium Iron Phosphate) batteries rather than the cheaper but less environmentally friendly standard lithium and lead-acid options.

The Solar System project is ever evolving and we are pioneering battery powered raves being the first in Canada to deploy Mackie’s Go portable PA system and now as of June 2023 we are in possession of the largest custom battery powered subwoofer. We are committed to refining this setup for optimal audio quality while remaining as efficient as possible in terms of overall footprint.
